Wing 2 surveys the Chao Phraya Dam

The Royal Thai Air Force sent Wing 2 to survey the Chao Phraya Dam after increasing the amount of water released, to support Thai image data for relevant agencies in assessing the water situation. Group Captain Thepphanom Suwansarn, Commander of Wing 2 and Director of Wing 2 Disaster Relief Center, assigned Squadron 201 of Wing 2 to fly an S-92A helicopter to survey the area of the Chao Phraya Dam as well as areas in Chainat, In Buri, and Sing Buri provinces. Initial survey results have not found any flooded areas along the surveyed flight route. This mission is part of the Air Force Disaster Relief Center's operations, which have a mission to monitor and provide assistance to the public in the event of a disaster.
