"Kanika" reveals that the government invites the public to join the project to unite in kindness, donate 10,000,000 cc of blood to save the lives of fellow human beings, in honor of His Majesty the King's 6th cycle, 72nd birthday. Ms. Kanika Ounjit, Deputy Government Spokesperson, said that the government led by Mr. Settha Thavisin, Prime Minister, has assigned the Office of the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister to integrate with the Thai Red Cross Society and various agencies in both the public and private sectors to organize the project 'Uniting Hearts, Donating 10,000,000 cc. of Blood to Save Lives of Fellow Humans' to honor His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024 to offer merit and honor His Majesty the King, as well as to provide the Thai Red Cross Society with blood reserves to help patients, to save lives of others, and to encourage blood donors to have a sense of doing good with their hearts, to know how to be a giver, and to create public awareness in helping society. Ms. Kannika continued that on the occasion of honoring His Majesty the King, the government saw fit to carry out the honoring project in order to follow the royal initiative, royal aspiration, and royal policy on environmental improvement and development and people's quality of life, including the implementation of public service projects to offer merit to His Majesty and improve the quality of life of people as a whole, so that they have a better life. Blood donation is a support for resolving the problem of blood reserve shortages of the Thai Red Cross Society. The government would like to invite citizens who volunteer to donate their blood to save the lives of others on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Santi Maitri Building (back), Government House. In other provinces across the country, government agencies, private sectors, and all sectors across the country will join together to donate blood from January 1 to December 31, 2 024.
