ThaiBMA marks IC ‘Bill of Exchange – EA Bonds’ 20 series

Bangkok, ThaiBMA has marked 'EA Bills of Exchange - Bonds' with IC symbols for a total of 20 series after the SEC accused former directors and executives and the Stock Exchange of Thailand marked EA securities with 'H' symbols. The Thai Bond Market Association (ThaiBMA) revealed that it has placed the IC (Investor Caution) mark on the bonds of Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) because the association has received information related to the bonds that have or will have a significant impact on the business operations of the bond issuer from the bond issuer, bondholder representatives, government agencies, or the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), which has been publicly disclosed to the general public. This follows the SEC's accusation of 3 former directors and executives of EA and their associates to the DSI for corruption and forwarding the case to the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand to place the 'H' mark on EA's securities and to provide additional informatio n. There are 20 types of EA debt instruments marked with IC, divided into 4 types of promissory notes and 16 types of debentures, as follows: A total of 4 EA exchange notes are marked IC.
