Rayong, Rayong Irrigation officials have been on the ground monitoring the efficiency of water drainage from Khlong Thap all along the line to closely monitor the water situation, fearing flooding like in neighboring provinces after heavy rain fell continuously for 2-3 days in Rayong. Mr. Jirapong Satyaem, Director of Rayong Irrigation Project and Rayong Irrigation officers went to the area to monitor the efficiency of water drainage from Khlong Thap along the entire route, starting from the second water pumping station of Line 3, Tambon Cheng Noen, Mueang Rayong District, the bridge behind Central Department Store, Taeng Bridge, Khlong Kiew Bridge, the bridge behind Khao Bot, Nong Prong water pumping station and the water gate behind Wat Thap Ma to closely monitor the water situation, fearing flooding like in neighboring provinces. They confirmed that the water situation in Rayong River, Khlong Thap Ma is not yet at a critical level like in Chanthaburi and Trat provinces. They asked the public not to worry .
