In the case of Mr. Setthaphong Siwawong, 45 years old, a resident of Mae Lao District, Chiang Rai Province, found a 1 cm pearl in a cockle and had the pearl sent for verification at the Gemological Testing Institute CGT (Chiangmai Gem Testing Laboratory : CGT LAB), Chiang Mai Province. The test results have come out. It was found that they were real pearls that were naturally formed. It is a shiny white pearl type. visibly reflects light It is larger than what is commonly found. The weight is 3.084 carats. The CGT Institute has issued a document certifying that it is a real pearl. Unable to assess the value, Mr. Setthaphong said he would not sell at all.
