Mr. Chai Watcharong, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that Mr. Settha Thavisin, Prime Minister, is scheduled to travel to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. People's Republic of China To attend the 'UBS Asian Investment Conference (AIC) 2024' between 28-29 May 2024 at the invitation of securities company executives. UBS is Switzerland's largest provider of banking, financial and investment services. The UBS Asian Investment Conference is a forum for senior executives. both from the government and private sectors It is expected that there will be more than 2,000 attendees and more than 300 companies from Asia-Pacific coming to exchange visions on the economy, investment, and innovations for the future. This year's UBS AIC event is organized around the main topic of the event: ' Wisdom: an eye on the past , a view to the future.' The Prime Minister prepares to show his vision. and present government policies to build confidence among foreign investors, such as the IGNITE THAILAND policy in pushing for Thailand to become a financial center (Financial Hub), including meeting with private sector executives. To discuss the government's investment promotion measures. and investment opportunities in Thailand Important missions of the Prime Minister include 1) attending a discussion with a small group of senior executives (Chief Investment Officer Meeting), 2) giving a speech at the UBS Asian Investment Conference 2024 about economic perspectives and investment opportunities in Thailand, and 3 Bilateral meeting with The Honorable John Lee Ka-chiu, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
