Prime Minister Settha Thavisin spoke about the Navy's submarine purchase, which he previously stated that Defense Minister Suthin Khlangsaeng had signed a request for the Cabinet to amend two agreements: 1. The Navy requests an amendment to the agreement, problems by changing the diesel engine that drives the generator from the MTU 396 model to the Chinese CHD620 submarine engine, and 2. Requesting an extension of the submarine delivery period according to the project to 1,217 days. If there are any changes after this, the Navy should be given the authority to make changes and amendments, and the Commander of the Royal Thai Navy should b e given the authority to sign the amendment to the agreement. He said that he had heard about this and had asked about it, but Suthin said that he had not signed it yet. When asked if Mr. Sutin came out to say that there were still obstacles in terms of the law, which the Prime Minister's working group is currently looking into, Mr. Settha said that it was not an obstacle with his working group, but an obstacle in terms of the law, and emphasized that everything must be correct and in accordance with the law. As for the navy wanting the signing to be completed within this month, the Prime Minister said that if everything can be done, is legal and passes the Council of State, and is legitimate, then everything will be done as quickly as possible.
