The Prime Minister thanked Samdech Maha Boworathibodi Hun Manet for the congratulatory message, which was one of the first leaders to receive after receiving the Royal Command appointing me as Prime Minister, and reaffirmed the close neighborliness and strategic partnership between Thailand and Cambodia, which will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Thai-Cambodian diplomatic relation s next year, and the commitment to working closely together to enhance the relationship between the two countries. On the part of the Malaysian Prime Minister, who posted an X to congratulate Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, on the occasion of taking office, making history as the youngest Prime Minister and the second woman to hold this honorable position. As close neighbors, Malaysia and Thailand are important and enduring partners. Relations are built on long-standing and deep-rooted historical, cultural and economic ties. The pursuit of peace and common development in southern Thailand has greatly benefited communities on both sides of the border.
