Online gambling equipment seized, moved base to Aranyaprathet

Tak, Special forces from Rajamanu seized online gambling equipment both during the day and night, believed to be moving their base from the Mae Sot border in Tak Province to the Aranyaprathet border in Sa Kaeo Province. Soldiers from the 431st Infantry Regiment, in cooperation with Mae Sot Police Station, patrolled along the Moei River on the Thai-Myanmar border in Ban Wang Takhian Tai, Tambon Tha Sai Lot, Amphoe Mae Sot, Tak Province. They found a suspicious person transporting several boxes. Upon seeing the officers, they immediately fled and abandoned the boxes. An inspection of the boxes revealed electronic devices and consumer goods, including two computer CPUs, four computer monitors, two power banks, two boxes of accessories (keyboard, mouse, router), and seven more boxes of consumer goods. Initial investigations suggest that the online gambling den was likely moved from the Mae Sot border area in Tak Province to the Thai-Cambodian border opposite Aranyaprathet District in Sa Kaeo Province. Previous ly, officials also seized computer equipment linked to an online gambling den, similar to the one set up at a joint security checkpoint in Ban Huai Hin Fon, Mae Sot District, Tak Province. An inspection of a white truck with a Bangkok license plate found computer equipment, including 16 computer CPUs, 27 computer monitors, 5 power banks, 11 boxes of accessories (keyboards, mice, routers), and 4 more telephones.
