Couple arrested for producing commercial pornographic content

Bangkok, Metropolitan Police Bureau joins Top G investigation, arrests couple who produced lovemaking content for commercial purposes, with over 400,000 followers. They were charged with 'jointly importing into a computer system any computer data that is obscene and that the general public can access, disseminating or forwarding computer data while knowing that it is obscene, producing or possessing pornographic media for commercial distribution or for public display, engaging in trade or participating in or being involved in trade related to the aforementioned obscene objects or items, distributing or displaying to the public, or renting such objects or items.' On July 22, 2014, officers from the Crime Suppression Division 3, Metropolitan Police Bureau, found an advertisement for the sale of obscene media through the X platform, which had over 400,000 followers. Later, an undercover agent contacted the account owner to ask what to do if interested and to transfer money to a bank account. The undercover agent then transferred 699 baht and the account 'X' was approved to follow the 'X' account, which is a personal account. It was found that the owner of the account 'X' collaborated with others to produce and film obscene videos, which contained a large number of obscene media images. Later, the Criminal Court approved a search warrant. From searching the bedroom of the couple, they found mobile phones and clothes used to film obscene videos, which we re evidence for the prosecution.
