The continuous rain since July 22-26 has caused flooding and soil subsidence in many areas in Mae Sam Laep Subdistrict, Sop Moei District, Mae Hong Son Province, especially Ban To Hae, near the Border Patrol Police School, Ban To Hae. The dirt road has subsided due to water erosion, causing the road to be broken, making it impassable for all types of vehicles to enter or exit. There is also a connecting route between Ban Pu Kham Noi - Ban Bun Loe and Village No. 4, Ban Sop Mei, between Ban Bun Loe - Ban Sop Mei. Some parts of the road are muddy and very slippery. Traveling is difficult. Only four-wheel drive vehicles with chains can be used. In some parts, the villagers have to help repair the road themselves to solve immediate prob lems. On Highway No. 105, Ban Mae Moot, Village No. 3, Mae Katuan Subdistrict, Sop Moei District, there was a landslide and trees fell across the road, making it impossible for vehicles to pass. Sop Moei District officials had to bring in a rapid response team to cut down trees that were obstructing traffic, while the Highways Department brought in heavy machinery to support the situation, allowing traffic to return to normal. As for the Ban Sao Hin route, the water level in each stream has increased due to the continuous rainfall, causing people living along the route to be careful while traveling. However, cars can still cross the stream, but it is difficult. Some cars are stuck in the sand and have to be pulled out of the stream by tractors or four-wheel drive vehicles. The Mae Sariang District Chief has warned people to be careful while traveling through the stream. If the water level is too high to cross, stop crossing because it is dangerous.
